Contrast Boldly

Hello friends!  I hope you guys are all doing wonderful :) meanwhile, school is going...it's going.  BUT I'M WORKING IN A RESEARCH LAB NOW SO THAT'S EXCITING BECAUSE SCIENCE CAN I GET AN "AMEN"?

But for now, here is a shot of my nails!

Yeah colors that are not the same!  Oh, and let's not forget that little flower that's resting on my ring finger!  I shall tell you more about this manicure after the jump :)
Let me be known as a (wo)man of my word!  I refuse to make promises I can't keep.

For this manicure:

I started with a coat of Double Duty Strengthening Base & Top Coat by Sally Hansen.  Then, I painted four very thin coats of Cloud 9 by Sinful Colors, and added a coat of Matte Me Crazy by NYC.  Once that dried, I taped the tops of my nails and painted the bottoms with Tribeca Silver by NYC.  After that dried, I taped two-thirds of my nails and painted my tips with What a Broad by Sephora by OPI.  I applied Double Duty Strengthening Base & Top Coat to only the purple tips.  Finally, I stamped my ring finger with the flower design from the m3 plate by Konad using Special White Polish by Konad.

The hardest part of this manicure is actually just waiting for the polish to be dry enough to be taped off for painting.  Actually, if you look closely, my index finger is all jank because I messed up the first time around and had to redo it, but I was rushing, so it's not as perfect as the other nails.  In fact, I didn't even wait for it to dry properly, so when I was buttoning up my pants, I messed up my manicure.  Haha...

At least I got these photos before I ruined my manicure.  I've also lost some petals from that little flower.  It only has 3 petals now instead of 5.  No idea where the other 2 petals went.  They probably have to attend cool events or take care of other responsibilities.  I understand.  Petals come and go, like people do.

School has only been here for about a week.  Only 14 more weeks left!  Let's all hope for a good semester filled with funny experiences (which will later make for good stories for our grandchildren when they go off to college)!
